With this program on my computer can you connect to my computer without my permission or knowledge?
No. You have to be at your computer to run the program for it to work. We cannot start it remotely.
Can other people connect to my computer with this software?
The OCT client will only work with OCT servers. Additionally the data is encrypted.

Welcome to Our Computer Tech. Our Computer Tech provides support for clients with Windows based systems. We have carry-in (you bring the system to us) and on-site service available.
Our service rates are $75/hr for carry-in service and $90/hr for on-site service. There is a one hour minimum for either carry-in or on-site service. Please see our RATES page for more information.
Our Computer Tech is the result of years of experience in computer support and custom development in both professional and personal business. The unique mix of experience of the founders allows Our Computer Tech to understand the needs of many small business owners looking to increase their business and improve their productivity.
If you have a system you would like to bring in for service please call ahead. It's important for use to have an idea of what the problem is in advance if possible so that we can let you know if we need you to bring anything with the system. (i.e. cables, monitor, printer, program disks, etc.)
