About Our Computer Tech

There is a need for skilled and creative technical people who are customer service oriented and who also understand the challenges of running a business. In early 2001 Our Computer Tech was established to satisfy this need. Our Computer Tech is a Los Angeles based corporation that provides computer and software sales, desktop and network service, and web support services to small and medium sized businesses.

Our Computer Tech is the result of years of experience in computer support and custom development in both professional and personal business. Our Computer Tech helps businesses tackle the daunting task of defining its web site needs. What type of web site do you need? How will it interact with your business practices? How is a host different from a designer? Our Computer Tech has the experience on the web to answer these and other questions.

Our Staff


Our Computer Tech personnel have more than 40 years combined experience in working with technology and computers and have all held management positions in high-tech companies giving them a unique combination of skills that enables them to do more than just provide technology. Our Computer Tech provides the understanding you need to successfully integrate that technology into your business flow.

With experience from such diverse industries as film production, pro-audio and pre-press print preparation, our team understands the importance of looking at how a solution will integrate into our clients existing business practices and needs.

Frank Thomson - Founder


Primary experiences include programming, page design, Flash generation, Windows 95/98/XP, Linux & Unix networking, firewalls, Postfix mail, IPchains firewalling, and Apache web server. Prior to founding Our Computer Tech, Mr. Thomson was the general manager of a semiconductor company and has years of experience in the design of integrated circuits, customer support, computer networking, and management. Mr. Thomson also Co-Chairs the Technology Committee of the Greater West Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce.

Don Miller - Founder


Primary experiences include: graphic design, page design, photoscanning and retouching, Windows 95/98/ME/XP networking and personal firewalls. Prior to founding Our Computer Tech, Mr. Miller was the director of manufacturing for a semiconductor company and has years of experience in product manufacturing, production flow, customer support, and supply chain management. Mr. Miller is also the Vice-President of Technology for the Greater West Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and Co-Chair of Technology Committee for the Chamber.
